Finn the "Foodie"

Ketchup has become quite the hit at our house lately. Just about anything can be dipped in it, including meat, broccoli, cheese...anything! Not sure I can count this as a vegetable serving, although when I see him eating it with a spoon, I do think about it.
Parmesan cheese is awesome too! Last night at dinner, every time it was sprinkled on to Finn's plate, he let our a loud and joyous "whoohooo"!

Progress....

Today was Finn's third art class that we have started through the local rec. department. The first class started off well with Finn sitting in my lap for about 30 minutes working on a variety of little art projects involving coloring and painting. After that he spent the last 30 minutes running around the room like a crazy man, shouting "ruck" out the window when a fire truck happened to pull up outside and exploring all the little nooks and crannies of the room we were in while all the other little kids still sat in their mommies laps continuing to work away on their little art pizzas.
Luckily at the second art class, another little girl showed up who was not present at the first and she turned out to be a bit more rambunctious than Finn...taking a little heat off of us! :)
Today was the third class which went quite well with Finn participating for most of the time, making a little caterpillar, sitting and listening at story time and working on a puzzle as well. He did have the most paint on his hands, face and just about everywhere else but he was content and not running around like he had a case of the crazies! Way to go Finn!!! Only one more session and Daddy will get to tackle that one...wish him luck!

Mother's Day

Daddy got up early with Finn this morning so that I could sleep in (until 7am) then I awoke to pancakes, eggs and bacon. We had a nice relaxing day at home and took a trip to the park. Finn ran around like a crazy man and with each trip down the slide let out a quiet "weeee".
His words are exploding and we hear new words on nearly a daily basis...I am pretty sure at this point his parents are the only ones who understand what he is saying the majority of the time. Currently Finn is spending a lot of time babbling about "nidnee" also known as Sydney, a girl in his daycare class.
