Uncle Joe Visit

Finn loves his "nanas"

Finn and Airman Uncle Joe

Finn spent the last few days playing with his Uncle Joe before he departs to Korea. Finn learned lots of new tricks, including pulling toes...thanks Uncle Joe! He spent a day with Gran Patty and loves her little dog Tammy, although I am not sure that Tammy is quite as fond of Finn.
Grandpa Keith spent time "toughin'" Finn...which got a few giggles out of him.

Finn continues to explode in his words and recently has been saying "the" in front of several words and it sounds like "da"...I guess we need to teach him to say "da bears".

Finn is also working on his first 2 year molar...poor guy has been a bit out of sorts.

Trucks, Tractors and Easter Eggs

Finn had a quick visit back to Grandpa Keith's farm in Iowa last weekend. From the second we pulled into the drive, Finn was quivering with excitement to see all the big trucks and tractors up close and personal. He was pointing and screaming "ruck" at the top of his lungs. The cows and geese brought much glee as well. Finn spent quite a bit of time chasing the geese and little farm dog and being chased by them. He was a bit scared to actually go for a ride in the tractor and at this point is quite content to watch.

Finn enjoyed Easter morning with cousins Faythe and Macy. It turns out we need to do some practice runs picking up Easter eggs next year as his cousins were definitely pros at this task. Finn picked up one egg and seemed to be pleased with that.

Finn overcome with Easter joy.

Today was picture day at Finn's daycare. I am told that he gave the photographer a hard time and was difficult to coax a smile out of. He also sustained a bruise near his eye at daycare the day prior...those toddlers can be quite the rough-housers. The pictures should be back in a couple weeks and I am sure will be precious.
